What does Legally Organized, LLC do?
Legally Organized is a full-service concierge firm that provides errand and personal assistant-type support to busy professionals. Our mission is to take over their to-do lists so they can focus on advancing their careers, improving the amount and quality of their personal lives, spend more time with family, etc. We handle their errands so they don’t have to.
How are they different?
Legally Organized bridges the gap between mom-and-pop personal assistance services and über-luxury concierge companies. When busy people need a little more help than just a neighborhood babysitter but a little less than private island rental, we are at-the-ready. We also have a targeted client base – professionals (who are presumable cash rich and time poor). We started out by targeting legal professionals but branched out to all professionals, though frankly our client base at the moment are all lawyers. Legally Organized utilizes a web-based communications system and interface – no phone tag, no nonsense. All errand/task requests, client communication and payment of expenses are handled via email and an electronic ticketing system. Our services are carried out by our “Clerks” who work on a part-time basis. Our Clerks have been fully screened and have undergone criminal background checks and are insured and bonded. For errands and tasks that require us to front expenses, the process is seamless – no cash changes hands, no money up front. Our Clerks are armed with pre-paid bank cards and clients receive an email invoice which is to be paid through our website.
Why could Legally Organized, LLC be BIG?
Based on our experience so far, after a client tries us once they use us over and over again. Once they “wrap their heads around” the concept of outsourcing their to-do lists to us, it becomes part of how they function in life – part of their routine. So far, notwithstanding our PR and marketing strategy, most of our clients have come to us through word of mouth. We expect that to continue. Further, whereas our start-up strategy involved mostly business to consumer marketing, we have switched to a blend of that and business to business marketing, where we have targeted law firms and women’s initiatives and groups with our Corporate Rescue Program whereby the firm buys points (time) in bulk at a discount for their employees, or subsidizes their employees’ purchases, pitching our services as a productivity and profitability enhancer.
How they plan to make money:
Once the business has more name and concept awareness, we will make money much in the way that the large temporary staffing businesses makes money, by making money off the spread between what we pay our temporary clerks and what we charge by way of fees. That, coupled with our Corporate Rescue Program whereby this time is bought in bulk up front, plus the consumer non-discounted consumer purchases, will increase revenue and profit.
Our thoughts:
No thoughts at the moment. Very interesting!
